Description

What is Vagisan?

Vagisan is a hormone-free cream used for treating vaginal dryness. It is nourishing and moisturising, relieving feelings of dryness, stinging, itching, or pain during intercourse. It can be used on a day to day basis, as well as before sexual intercourse.

How does Vagisan work?

Vagisan cream has a high water content, which helps to moisturise the internal and external skin around the vagina. It also contains lipids (fats) that help to maintain skin suppleness. These help to ease the symptoms associated with vaginal dryness, as well as tacking the issue at its core.

How should Vagisan be used?

Vagisan comes with an applicator to assist with internal use. It can be applied to both the vaginal entrance and the external genitalia. Attach the applicator to the tube opening with the tube opening facing upwards. Fill the applicator barrel halfway with cream by gently squeezing the tube, then remove the tube from the applicator. Get into a comfortable position and insert the applicator into the vagina, inserting it as deep as possible into the vagina and pushing the plunger down to release the cream. After use, clean the applicator so it is ready for its next use.

Is Vagisan suitable for me?

Vagisan is suitable for use by those suffering from vaginal dryness both regularly and before sexual intercourse. If using during intercourse, Vagisan should not be used with condoms or caps/diaphragms, as the tear strength of these contraceptives can be compromised. It does not contain any spermicides, so does not affect the actions of sperm during intercourse. If you are pregnant, do not use the applicator for safety reasons. Instead, apply a small ribbon of cream to a clean finger and insert this way. Do not use Vagisan if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
