Get into a position where you are comfortable, and gently put the applicator as deep as you can into the vagina without experiencing pain or discomfort. Slowly and carefully press the plunger until it stops, depositing the pessary into the vagina. Remove the applicator gently, and dispose of it in a safe space out of reach from children.

Canesten thrush pessary is suitable for women between the ages of 16 and 60. If you are younger than 16 or older than 60 and wish to use this method of treatment, consult a healthcare professional for further guidance. Do not use Canesten thrush pessary if you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients. It is advised that you do not use this treatment while you are on your period as it may be less effective.
