Acnecide gel works through the active ingredient of benzoyl peroxide. This substance attacks the bacteria known as propionibacterium acnes – one of the main bacteria known to cause acne.

How should Acnecide gel be used?

Before applying the gel, gently clean the affected area and pat the skin dry. Apply in a thin layer once or twice a day (limit to once a day in the evening if you have particularly sensitive skin).

Is Acnecide gel suitable for me? 

Acnecide is suitable for those suffering from acne on the face, chest, or back. It is not usually suitable for those who are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or are breastfeeding – if you wish to start treatment and are in any of these situations, consult a healthcare professional. Do not take Acnecide if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
