What is Zineryt lotion?

Zineryt lotion is a topical treatment used to help ease the irritation and prevent the growth of bacteria caused by acne. It works through the active ingredients erythromycin and zinc acetate, which form an antibacterial substance.

How does Zineryt lotion work?

Zineryt lotion works through the active ingredients of erythromycin and zinc acetate – combined to be antibacterial agents that help to reduce the appearance of acne pimples and spots through targeting the bacteria which causes acne to develop.

How should Zineryt lotion be applied?

Zineryt has its own special applicator pad that should be used whenever applying this medication. Before application, wash the affected area and make sure that you have clean hands. To use, unscrew the protective cap and hold the pad against the skin, spreading the lotion across the areas that are affected. The applicator should ensure that only the right amount of lotion is applied. If there is any excess, take a tissue and gently blot it until the excess is cleared. This should be done twice a day.

Is Zineryt lotion suitable for me?

Zineryt lotion is suitable for both children and adults who are suffering from acne and require treatment. It is also suitable for use by those who are pregnant and breastfeeding (as long as it is not used on the chest) – you should however still consult a healthcare professional before starting treatment.
