What is Bazuka Extra strength and how does it work?
Bazuka Extra strength is an over-the-counter gel that contains salicylic acid. Upon application, the gel dries to form a water-resistant, protective barrier over the affected area. This protective layer should help stop the spread of infection.
How do I apply Bazuka gel?
This gel should be applied once every night. Warts can take up to 12 weeks to disappear so the gel should be applied every night until this point.
- Soak the affected area in warm water for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Dry thoroughly.
- Apply one or two drops to the affected area and allow a protective layer to form.
- The next night, remove this layer and re-apply the gel following instructions 1-3.
- Once per week, use a pumice stone to gently remove the treated surface before re-applying the gel.
Is Bazuka Extra strength suitable for me?
This gel is suitable for most adults and children over 2 years. If you do appear to have an allergic reaction, stop use and seek medical advice.
