What is Telfast?
Telfast contains the active ingredient fexofenadine, a type of antihistamine. It is used to provide relief from the symptoms of hayfever (allergic rhinitis) such as sneezing, a runny nose, and irritated eyes.
How does Telfast work?
Telfast works through the active ingredient fexofenadine, an antihistamine medication. Antihistamines help to manage the symptoms of hayfever by preventing histamines from being released excessively (which can occur when pollen makes contact with the nose, throat or eyes, causing the hayfever symptoms).
How should Telfast be taken?
Telfast 120mg tablets should be taken once per day with water, preferably before a meal. The medication should start working within a 1 hour period and should last for 24 hours.
Is Telfast suitable for me?
Telfast is suitable for use in those over the age of 12. Do not take Telfast if you are allergic to fexofenadine or any of its other ingredients. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding Telfast is not recommended – make sure you consult a healthcare professional before taking the medication.
